Raw Buckwheat Porridge

This breakfast has become my favourite through my mornings that I spent in the beautiful city of Dubai.

For it is super delicious and easy to make. I always make more portions and have it also the next day. How practical!

Buckwheat is not only tasty but has numerous health benefits for us. It is gluten free and full of minerals.

 

we will need: for 2 portions

1 cup buckwheat soaked in 1 and 1/2 cup water

1 apple

1 ripe banana

1 cup soy milk or any other non-dairy milk is great

2 tablespoons maple syrup

cinnamon

optional: 1/2 cup frozen berries

 

Let the buckwheat overnight to soak in a bowl of water. In the morning, drain the remaining water from buckwheat.

Place it into blender and mix together with all ingredients. You can serve it with any fruits, nuts or seeds that are your favourites.

And then enjoy your day with this tasty bowl of colours!
